2018 Homecoming was a massive success

Last week, students at St. Patrick Catholic High School celebrated 2018 Homecoming Week. Students and faculty dressed up each day according to the themes voted for by Student Council members.

Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy, oh my! Monday was a homecoming week theme classic as the school participated in dressing up as their favorite Disney character. Tuesday was a conquest of the sea as students dressed as mermaids and pirates. On Wednesday, students never grew up and reminisced on the days that onesies were a wardrobe favorite. Thursday called for royalty as the student body celebrated the Homecoming Mass, which led to a St. Patrick fan favorite, Friday’s Irish Pride. Students ended the week showing off countless shades of green, white, and gold.

Saturday called for black tie and groovy dance moves. After a week of interactive fun, the ninth through twelfth grade students attended the annual Homecoming dance where the court and Homecoming King were announced.

Students and teachers alike look forward to Homecoming Week as it unites the members of St. Patrick Catholic High School.

“I always look forward to Homecoming Week. It’s amazing to see the camaraderie and competitive spirit between the students, teachers, and staff. I find it inspiring how the Student Council especially plays a huge and demanding part in the theme and set up for the dance, as well as the help ‘behind the curtain’ when it comes to making everything run smoothly and perfectly. The dance itself was amazing and the decorations were phenomenal. I cannot wait for what next year holds for us.” – Beyla Bleichner, Student Council member

Students look forward to next year’s 2019 St. Patrick Homecoming!
