2nd Annual Walk for Life
On Sunday, January 14, 2018 the Diocese of Biloxi held the Second Annual Walk for Life, at Nativity BVM Cathedral in Biloxi. Many St. Patrick Catholic High School students came out and walked for the cause. WLOX even covered the walk, and they even interviewed a few of the St. Patrick students.
They day started with a rosary rally, that was led with help from St. Patrick students, followed by a mass for life, that was led by Bishop Kihneman. The actual walk was from the cathedral to the pavilion next to the visitor’s center.
The event was well attended, by not only members of the St. Patrick community, but by people from all across the Gulf Coast. At the end of the walk Bishop Kihneman led a prayer service and said a prayer over all those heading up to Washington D.C. later this week. The Knights of Columbus provided hotdogs and drinks for all the attendees, and two St. Patrick buses helped transport people back to Nativity.
