St. Patrick High School Drama Guild presented an abridged version of their spring musical High School Musical at the Armed Forces Retirement Home on March 10th. The idea for presenting this program at the home began with Nola Lambing, member of the Gulfport Women's Club, contacting her niece, Lucy Sutherlin, an English teacher at St. Patrick. Mrs. Sutherlin spoke with Mr. Michael McLaughlin, teacher and drama coach, who in turn made arrangements with the home. The Drama Guild put on an incredibly entertaining show enjoyed by the large crowd at the Retirement Home. Many residents congratulated the drama group and enjoyed visiting with them after the show.
