The Science Club and Robotics Team would like to encourage our families to consider giving blood this summer during the 24th Annual Media for Red Cross "Luau for LIfe" Blood Drive.  Summer time is a very critical time of year for our local blood supply when schools are not in session and not hosting blood drives. 

In addition to saving lives, we can win a grant for supplies or equipment for our school.  The school sending the most donors will win a $750.00 grant, 2nd place wins a $500.00 grant and 3rd place receives a $250.00 grant. If we win, we get to tell the Red Cross  what we need for our school and the Red Cross will purchase it for us.

NOON TO 7:00 PM EACH DAY 

• Tuesday, June 26, 2012 Edgewater Mall Near the Rock Wall - Biloxi
• Wednesday, June 27 Our Lady Academy High School Gym - Bay St. Louis
• Thursday, June 28 Singing River Mall - across from the Movie Theatre - Gautier

High school and college student donors will also receive a free Smoothie King coupon and can enter a drawing for a chance to be a Guest DJ on WQRZ Radio. 16 year old donors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to sign the Parental Consent Form at the blood drive. All donors must present a photo ID.
