Last Friday and Saturday, December 1st and 2nd, St. Patrick hosted an ACT workshop. The sections that were offered at the workshop were English, Reading, Writing, and Math. The students had the opportunity to learn new skills and ways to raise their ACT score. They were also given a lot of practice throughout the workshop to apply what they learned to an actual ACT question. Mrs. Gail Trahan and Mrs. Susie Tavel did a wonderful job explaining the information to the students. They did it in a way that the students hopefully did not just learn the information for the ACT but would take the new skills and techniques with them throughout high school and college. The workshop was a huge success and helped the students in preparation for the test next Saturday.
