Adoration XLT held at St. Patrick

On a chilly Friday morning, the XLT group from St. John the Evangelist Church in Gulfport stopped by St. Patrick Catholic High School for a morning of beautiful music and inspirational speeches.

The school was blessed with a live band performing a mix of worship songs that the students danced and sang to. Students were kneeling in front of the Eucharist and silently praying to themselves, holding their hands to the sky, or singing praise. This was a special day for our St. Patrick family because it was not a normal adoration service. It was a blessing to have the XLT team from St. John come to our school for a morning of worship.

St. Patrick Junior Emma Bruffey says, “It was such a great experience being able to worship with so many other students. This adoration felt different than all of the others. It was very special because the music was great and the talks were very inspiring. I am so grateful that the XLT team came to St. Patrick!”

Adoration XLT service is available at St. John the Evangelist Church in Gulfport every Tuesday night at 7 pm. This service includes worship and confessions. Everyone is welcome to attend. More information about XLT can be found on the Diocese of Bioxi website.
