Annual Nativity track meet is held at St. Patrick
On Tuesday, April 24th, St. Patrick High School hosted the annual Nativity Track Meet. Most of the feeder schools, were in attendance. The gates opened at 4:00 and the events started at 5:00. The night started with prayer and pledge and principal Buckley even shared a few words. The Josh Bozeman award, was given to a brother and sister duo, from Our Lady of Fatima, Kadence and Logan Sheppard. The first events, were the field events, starting with 4th, 5th, and 6th grade long jump and softball throw. While those two events got started, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders started competing in the 50 yard dash. The St. Patrick Fighting Irish Track Team, and other students helped Coach Dellenger, keep the night running smoothly. It was perfect night for a track meet, with the sun setting and it wasn’t too hot at all.
