AP biology students complete ecosystem projects
Students in Mrs. Emily Cloud’s AP biology class have been working on projects showcasing various biomes. They were tasked with creating a pasteboard depiction of their biomes and providing an oral presentation to the class, addressing the following:
- Climate conditions during the year for Summer, Fall, Winter, Spring – Indicating Average Temperatures and Precipitation for each month within each season.
- Animals typically found in your biome and some of the important adaptations needed to survive there.
- Some plant types found there and the adaptations they need to survive.
- What the soil is like in this biome, as this relates to plants found there.
On the assignment, Mrs. Emily Cloud said, “I feel the Ecosystem Project was a great way to end the year and showcase many of the concepts learned in AP Biology.”
