Cassandra Terry hired as English Teacher and Head Varsity Women’s Soccer Coach

Principal Dr. Matt Buckley announces today that Cassandra Terry has been hired as English Teacher and Head Varsity Women’s Soccer Coach at St. Patrick Catholic High School for the 2022-2023 school year.

Terry was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She is a graduate of York University in Toronto with a degree in English, Literature, and French. She is also working to obtain her certification to teach Latin.

“We are very proud to have Coach Terry join our team here at St. Patrick,” said Principal Dr. Matt Buckley. “Her knowledge and experience inspire me, and I am confident that she will be an excellent addition to our faculty and coaching staff both in the classroom and on the soccer field. We are excited to have such a strong and dedicated leader for our women’s soccer program.”

Terry has been coaching at the high school level for seven years, most recently serving as the head coach for the varsity soccer team at Durango High School in Las Vegas. She has also coached for the St. Robert Rams in Markham, Canada, and the Cardinal Carter Celtics in Aurora, Canada.

“I am excited to have Cassandra Terry join our staff as Head Varsity Women’s Soccer Coach,” Athletic Director Trey Bailey said. “Coach Terry will bring a disciplined, hard-nosed work ethic to our team, while also continuing to enhance our mission of creating disciples for Christ. She brings a wealth of experience to the position, and is someone that I believe can take our program to the next level.”
