Cloud named recipient of Thomas Patrick LeTard, Sr., MD Scholarship

Biloxi, Miss.- St. Patrick Catholic High School is proud to announce that Colin Cloud ’24 has been named this year’s recipient of the Thomas Patrick Letard, Sr., MD Memorial Scholarship.

The scholarship honors the life of Dr. Thomas LeTard, Sr., who was a long-time resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and served many as an anesthesiologist. The gift is made by his wife, Mrs. Martha LeTard SH ‘79, as a scholarship fund.

“Three of our children graduated from St. Patrick – I went to Sacred Heart. This just made sense to advance Catholic education at St. Patrick,” said LeTard.

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must have a 2.75 gpa, must be a member of the Robotics team or some other STEM related activity and must demonstrate financial need. 

The scholarship fund is open to gifts with a goal of reaching $50,000 in honor of Dr. LeTard.
