COVID-19 Protocol for Returning to School

Greetings St. Patrick Families:

I hope you and your family are doing well.  We are very excited about the start of the 2020-21 school year, and we look forward to seeing everyone very soon.

In preparation for the start of the school year, today we publish our SP-SHIELD Plan (the St. Patrick Safety & Health for Intentional Education of Learning Disciples Plan) as we prepare to reopen our campus and offer in-person classes in as traditional a setting as possible.  Classes will begin on Thursday, August 6.

Visit www.stpatrickhighschool.net/shield to review our full reopening plan.

The spiritual, physical, intellectual, and emotional wellness of all students, faculty, and staff within our St. Patrick High School community remains our highest priority. Please know that our team, in close consultation with the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi, will closely monitor the rapidly changing circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, and we will remain vigilant in identifying and implementing evidence-based health and safety practices guided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC); the Mississippi State Department of Health; the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi; and our local, state, and federal government. School-to-Home Virtual Learning is also available to any parent/guardian who requests it for their child(ren).

We will have a live question and answer session this Wednesday, July 29, at 6:00 p.m. I, along with the rest of our leadership team, will be live on Facebook and YouTube to review the plan and answer any questions.  We invite you to join us this Wednesday evening.

Know of our continued prayers for you and your family.  May we continue to keep those affected by COVID-19 in our prayers each day.  If there is anything you need, please reach out to a member of our team.  We all look forward to seeing you soon.

God bless and Go Irish!
