Diana Punzo hired as Girls Golf Coach
Diana Punzo has been hired as the St. Patrick Catholic High School Girls Golf Coach.

Punzo is originally from Roswell, New Mexico, and began playing golf at the age of 13. She qualified to play on the high school varsity girls golf team for Goddard High School as an eighth grader. Diana played five years of high school varsity golf, which included five District 4-AAAA and State AAAA Championship team wins.
St. Patrick Catholic High School Athletic Director Eddie Burger said, “I am very excited about adding Mrs. Punzo to our staff. I believe her experience and knowledge in the game of golf will add a new dynamic to our girls golf program and provide them with everything they need to be successful moving forward.”
Goddard High School is known for high-quality golfers including Texas Tech’s head women’s golf coach JoJo Robertson and LPGA Touring Professionals Nancy Lopez and Gerina Mendoza Piller. Diana also made time to compete in many American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) and Junior Tour events across the country during her high school years. This experience helped her earn a golf scholarship to Arkansas State University. Diana is now a business owner and uses her golf experience in business by building professional relationships on the golf course.
She said, “I am excited to lead the Fighting Irish Girls Golf Team this season and lead them to another District and State win!”
