Dr. Meredith Casey to join SPCHS Faculty

Principal Matt Buckley is proud to announce that Dr. Meredith Casey has been hired as a math instructor for the 2018-19 school year.

Dr. Casey earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Georgia and her master and doctorate degrees from Georgia Institute of Technology. Following graduate school, she taught mathematics at The University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, for three years and has been teaching at Savannah State University for the last year. Her husband is a chaplain in the Air Force, and they are moving to Biloxi in July with their two children to be stationed at Keesler Air Force Base. For the 2018-19 year, she will be teaching two dual-enrollment college courses (College Algebra and Trigonometry), as well as Math 7 and pre-algebra.
