Students create solar system newscasts

Students in Mr. Villarrubia’s class were tasked with creating a newscast about a day on objects in the solar system (planet, comet/asteroid/meteor or constellation). Students were the anchors, sportscasters, and meteorologists and discussed the current weather, a sports story and a feature story.

Groups created scripts and visual aids to represent their objects in the solar system, using facts and information they collected while researching their respective objects. The Saturn-inspired cupcakes were the biggest hit of all!
