Father Colten celebrates St. Valentine’s Day Mass

On Thursday, February 14, Father Colten celebrated Mass with St. Patrick Catholic High School. Father Colten is an alumnus of St. Patrick, so it is that much more special when he comes to celebrate with us. The students and staff always love his homilies, and this week’s homily was about love and respect.

Students are welcome to become more involved in Mass by being lectors, gift bearers, altar servers, or even by singing in the school choir. Alumni and families are encouraged to come for Mass each week. The next Mass will be held Thursday, February 21, at St. Patrick and will be celebrated by Father Greg Barras.

Avery King, a junior at St. Patrick, commented, “This week’s homily was just amazing and really spoke to me when he talked about self-respect and love. I always look forward to going to Mass each week during school because it is an opportunity for me to spend more time with Jesus and deepen my faith.”
