Fellowship of Christian Athletes meet to discuss upcoming service projects
On Wednesday, February 13, Fellowship of Christian Athletes had a meeting in Coach Dellenger’s room. FCA is an organization which brings together athletes at a school to do service projects for their communities. The meeting began with a prayer by Maddie Moak. Sarah Alexander read a thank-you letter sent by Fatima for the club’s St. Vincent de Paul toy donations for less fortunate kids. The club held the toy donation project before Christmas.
Next, Holden Hewes spoke about the last FCA yearly project. The members will be buying and donating Easter baskets for kids in local hospitals. They are due in March and they are to be brought to Coach Dellenger’s classroom. After all the important subjects were discussed, Maddie led the closing prayer.
