FCA students collected non-perishable items for Thanksgiving

Members of St. Patrick Catholic High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) collected and will donate non-perishable food items to St. Vincent de Paul Society in time for Thanksgiving. In total, 52 students contributed to the drive, which amounted to 300 pounds of food. Each year, St. Patrick students dedicate more than 15,000 hours to community service initiatives.

St. Patrick Catholic High School FCA President Anna D’Aquilla said, “The St. Patrick Chapter of FCA is so excited to be able to donate food to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. As president, I am thankful for such great members who brought in the donations for our Thanksgiving drive.”

For more than 40 years, FCA has been focused on one purpose – to present to athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church. The SPCHS FCA Chapter will also be participating in Christmas and Easter service projects this year.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
