Fighting Irish Cross Country: 1st Annual Olan Welch CC Classic Results
The Fighting Irish Cross Country Team again had a strong showing at the 1st Annual Olan Welch CC Classic hosted by Long Beach High School on Saturday, September 22. The team was faced with a competitive slate of opponents and sweltering temperatures. The varsity boys finished third overall, and the varsity girls finished fourth overall. Irish junior high runners were the first to cross the finish line for both the boys and girls. Top 15 Irish runners for each race can be found below, and full results can be found on MileSplit here.
Varsity Boys Results
- Dylan Middleton placed 8th overall, finishing in 19:29.19
- Mason McCullough placed 10th overall, finishing in 19:42.10
- Dominic Patino finished 11th overall, finishing in 19:42.75
Varsity Girls Results
- Isabel Leatherman finished 3rd overall in 22:11.01
- Jordan Pete finished 5th overall in 22:23.91
- Amelie Million finished 15th overall in 24:09.12
Junior High Boys
- Bryon Shepard finished 1st overall in 16:18.61
- Luke Meyers finished 6th overall in 17:57.46
Junior High Girls
- Isabella Patino placed 1st overall in 18:03.45
The team will compete in the Ocean Springs Invitational this Saturday, September 29, starting at 9 a.m.
