Fighting Irish Track and Field season begins tomorrow
The Fighting Irish Track Team will be competing tomorrow at St. Stanislaus beginning at 10 a.m. Head Coach Stan Dellenger has hopes for a successful season, saying, “We are now competing in Class 2A, and with some luck and a prayer, we can make a serious run for a state title. The 2017-18 girls team finished highly in the 3A Division at state, and only one was a senior. The boys team is primed to finish with state medal honors.”
The coaching staff also includes Tim McDaniel, Bryan Leatherman and Greg Patino.
