Fighting Irish Varsity Baseball Team defeats North Forrest
On Friday, March 8, the St. Patrick Varsity Men’s Baseball Team played its second home game against North Forrest. The Irish came out with a win of 12-1. Their record in terms of district is 2-0, with this being their fourth district game.
Team families sold fish plates to those in attendance. A fish fry will take place every Friday night home game during Lent.
Senior Parker Frame said, “It was a great game with Dylan Fontan pitching. I’m excited to continue the journey to district and hopefully state.“
The next home game will be against Poplarville tonight and will start at 7 p.m. Come out and support the Fighting Irish!
