Hunter Frierson Signs Baseball Scholarship with MGCCC

St. Patrick Catholic High School senior Hunter M. Frierson recently signed  a two-year Athletic Baseball Scholarship with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Hunter was a member of the 2007 Class A St. Championship Team and was selected as Best Defensive Player. He was a member of the All-State Team. In 2008 and 2009, Hunter was named to the Class 2A All-Regional Team and was a member of the District Championship teams for both years. Hunter is also a member of the Swim Team and was named Most Improved in 2008 and 2009.   

Senior members of the SPCHS Baseball team, SPCHS coaches Adam Dyess and Daniel Best, and MGCCC Coach Jeff Long were also present for the signing and the reception for Hunter and teammate Joey Harris.
