Catholic Schools Week

A+ For America--Catholic Schools.

Wednesday, 19 January 2011

Catholic Schools Week is January 30-February 5, 2011.  Our theme is "A+ For America--Catholic Schools."  We have special activities planned to commemorate the week:

  • Sunday -- Students will speak at Masses on the subject "How Thankful I Am for a Catholic Education."
  • Monday--We will be on pep rally schedule for a "Living Rosary."  Students will fill out mass intention cards to be deposited in a basket and brought up with the gifts during mass.
  • Tuesday--We will be on pep rally schedule for Adoration.  We will collect canned goods for St. Vincent de Paul.
  • Wednesday--We will be on Pep Rally schedule for a campus ministry skit.  A special lunch is planned for the teachers.  We need parents or grandparents  to volunteer to substitute so that teachers can eat together -- 12:20-1:15. Contact Nurse Stacey at 702-0500 ext 5 if you can help.
  • Thursday--Free pancake breakfast for students from 7:30 to 7:55, Mass and extended break after Mass
  • Friday--Movie Day and Jean Dress Day.

Please volunteer to help out on Wednesday!
