Congratulations to the Girls and Boys Cross Country Team! The team traveled to Hattiesburg to complete in the USM Invitational on Friday, September 23rd and secured 1st and 3rd place performances.

The Girls took home the First Place Trophy with 22 points, a near perfect
score! With 89 runners, 5 of the Lady Irish finished in the top 10-- Kaylyn
Bellais 1st-16:43, Ashtyn Bellais 2nd--16:48, Emily Bodin 4th--17:04, Katie
Bodin 7th--17:45 and Collin Letard 8th--17:48.

The Boys had a strong 3rd place, only 7 points away from second, behind two class 6A schools. With 114 runners, the boys had three runners in the top  10--Nick Chapman 6th, with a PR of 18:11, John McMackin 7th--18:18, and Eric Million--10th--18:24.

The Cross Country Team next competes in the Mississippi College Watson Ford Invitational in Clinton, MS on Saturday, October 7th.
