Wendy's High School Heisman State Finalist John McMackin was honored at a luncheon  on February 28, 2012 at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame.  From the students who were selected and honored as as Finalists, two students, one male and one female, were selected to represent Mississippi in the national competition.
