Interact Club meets to discuss upcoming service opportunities

The Interact Club held its first meeting of this school year on Wednesday, September 19.  The Interact Club brings together people of different grades that are dedicated to putting “Service above Self.”

President Amelie Million explains, “Being in Interact Club has been such a rewarding experience. I’ve been able to participate in so many amazing projects, such as Cruisin’ the Coast and the Heart Walk. I am really looking forward to the rest of the year! It is great to be a part of a club that really cares about making the world a better place.”

This year the Interact Club is participating in numerous events. They will be assisting the national rotary club this weekend, September 30, in selling drinks for Cruisin’ the Coast.  

Some upcoming events include:

  • Heart Walk – Saturday, Sept 29
  • Cruisin the Coast – Sunday, September 30
  • Children’s Shelter Halloween Party – October TBA
  • Children’s Shelter Christmas Party – October TBA
  • Bellringing at the Mall – December TBA
  • Laying of the Wreaths – December TBA
  • Children’s Shelter Easter Egg Hunt – TBA
  • Rotary Club’s Children’s Health Fair – July 2019
