Interact club serves community with three Christmas service projects
The St. Patrick Catholic High School Interact Club has been busy in serving the Gulf Coast community this holiday season. Throughout the school year Interact Club serves the community with its many service projects. Being one of the largest clubs at St. Patrick, Interact Club makes a large impact on behalf of our student community.
This holiday season, Interact Club has been involved in three major events. The first of these events is the Edgewater Mall Bellringing. Student members of Interact volunteered their time to ring bells to raise money for the American Red Cross. This service work is an annual activity for the St. Patrick Interact Club.
The second activity Interact Club participated in is the Laying of the Wreaths. The Wreath Laying took place on December 5. Student volunteers put wreaths on veterans graves at the National Cemetery in Biloxi to honor our troops.
Finally, Interact Club visited the Children’s Shelter to make gingerbread houses with the children who live there. The shelter welcomes St. Patrick Interact Club members every year as a helpful way to bring joy to these children’s lives during the holidays.
Thank you to our St. Patrick Catholic High School Interact Club for representing our school in such a positive light by serving our community throughout the years. Keep up the good work this year in all your endeavors.
