Joseph and Jade Agler Win Music Awards

BILOXI, Miss. – This past Friday and Saturday Joseph and Jade Agler competed in the Mississippi Music Teachers Association’s Pre-College State Finals.

Joseph competed in 3 categories in piano (Solo, Sonatina/Sonata, and Ensemble) and 1 category in strings (Solo, Viola). He placed 2nd in two of the categories and 3rd in the other two categories.

Jade completed in 3 categories in piano (Solo, Sonatina/Sonata, and Ensemble) and 2 categories in strings (Solo and Theme & Variations, Violin). She won two gold medals, two 2nd places, and one 3rd place. Jade also received a plaque for the highest composite score for her age group.
