Junior high basketball teams compete against Pearl River

On Monday, January 22, the St. Patrick Irish junior high basketball teams played against Pearl River Middle School at home. The 7th-grade boys played first, resulting in a loss of 22-24 against Pearl River. Though junior high girls’ team fought hard against the Blue Devils, they also finished the game with a tough loss of 13-33. Despite these losses, we are still proud of our junior high teams for putting up a good fight. This was the last set of junior high games before the playoffs.

Throughout these games, our junior high cheerleaders continued to support each of our teams with motivating cheers and even performed a cheer at halftime to keep the crowd’s spirit up. However, the cheerleaders need our help to keep our teams motivated and alert! Make sure to attend the upcoming junior high playoff games to show your support for our teams. We surely hope to see you there! Go Irish!
