Junior high student council promotes Pennies for Patient service project

The students of St. Patrick are participating in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients (March 7-24).  This will be a great opportunity for students to work together for a great cause as well as to help thousands of Mississippi patients currently battling a blood cancer like leukemia.

The Junior High Student Council has set the school’s goal to raise $1,000 this year, but we need your help!

St Patrick Catholic High School has its own online giving pages –http://events.lls.org/pages/msla/StPatrickCatholicHighSchool.

Each first period classroom has its own online donation page. Family and friends of St. Patrick can choose to give to a specific classroom or teacher by using the search option on the left of the school’s donation page. All of the students’ proceeds go to their classroom’s total, and the online donations will be added to the final count as each class continues to strive for the first place pizza party!

We encourage students to create their own individual online giving page by clicking “Join A Classroom Team.” Any student that raises $50 or more on their individual online page by April 30th  will receive an LLS T-Shirt (as well as other prizes as they continue to raise money).

Online Giving Teacher Challenge: LLS will award the highest online fundraising teacher with a $25 Office Depot gift card (for schools raising $300 or more online).

Classroom Competition: The highest fundraising classroom will receive an pizza party (for schools raising $500 or more)!

With your help, LLS is funding research, patient support, and advocacy that is saving lives today! Thank you for your support and may the best classroom win!
