Key Club to participate in Coastal Cleanup this weekend
On Monday, October 15, Key Club held an important meeting, discussing the upcoming Coastal Cleanup. Key Club, an affiliate of Kiwanis, is the largest and oldest service club for high school students. The Club discussed plans for the coming months and potential service projects that they could initiate to improve the community. This weekend the Club will be participating in the Coastal Cleanup by removing trash from the beaches in Biloxi.
On the meeting, Isabell Alexander explained, “I’m so excited for all the wonderful projects that are coming up! We will soon be participating in the Coastal Cleanup. It is so cool to see the difference we can make as teenagers in the community.”
Key Club will be participating in the Coastal Cleanup this Saturday, October 20, from 8 to 9:30 in the morning. The participants are to meet in the Edgewater Mall parking lot to start off the fun and productive day!
