Lady Irish volleyball teams face Gautier Gators

On Thursday, August 23, the Lady Irish junior varsity and varsity volleyball teams competed for a win against the Gautier Gators! The junior varsity game started at 5:30, while the varsity game started at 6:30.  Although both Irish teams put up a good fight, they fell short three games.

Senior Elizabeth Simmons said, “Our game was tough, but our team did amazing in working together.”

The next home game is Tuesday, September 4, against OLA. Junior varsity begins at 5:30 p.m. and varsity starts at 6:30, so come out and support the Lady Irish as they compete against OLA!
