
Lauren Williams to join Leadership Team as Director of Student Services
Today, Principal Dr. Matt Buckley announces that Mrs. Lauren Williams has been promoted to Director of Student Services at St. Patrick Catholic High School for the 2022-23 school year. This is a new position that will be added to our school’s Leadership Team – creating this new position accomplishes one of the goals and objectives of the Academics and Instructional Technology domain of our school’s new Strategic Plan.
“Mrs. Williams has been an integral part of our team at St. Patrick, and we are proud to have her join our Leadership Team for the 2022-23 school year,” said Dr. Matt Buckley. “I look forward to having Mrs. Williams join efforts with Ms. Wilkinson as we enhance and restructure our current Guidance Office. Mrs. Williams will serve as our Director of Student Services. Through this new position, she will work closely with students on college and career planning, college scholarship opportunities, test preparation, emotional and physical wellness, and much more. As a member of our Leadership Team, she will also assist in leading our faculty and staff in our constant pursuit of excellence. I continue to be very proud to have Mrs. Williams on our team and look forward to working alongside her in this new capacity.”

Williams is a 1999 graduate of St. John Catholic High School in Gulfport. During the 2018-19 school year, Mrs. Williams was an Instructional Literacy Coach and Lead Teacher in the Harrison County School District where she facilitated curriculum development for social studies and English courses. Mrs. Williams has led over 100 hours of professional development for educators covering topics such as classroom management, curriculum development and planning, student data analysis, differentiated instruction, adolescent reading interventions, and novice teacher training. Williams received her certification as an ACT Certified Educator in 2020 and has also conducted ACT Test Prep Workshops. She has recently completed coursework in college and career counseling.
