Local architects speak with geometry classes

Mrs. Gollott’s geometry classes hosted a local architecture firm, TALLstudio Architecture, today to learn about applied geometry in the workplace. Mark and Madison Talley, a duo who studied architecture at Mississippi State and now have an office in Ocean Springs, spoke about using geometry in design and the breakdown of geometric shapes in buildings, forms, and spaces.  Mark, a licensed architect in the state of Mississippi, has worked in large corporate firms across the country, and enjoys designing everything from the large conceptual ideas down to the tiniest of details.  Madison, a Mercy Cross alumna who is working towards licensure, is passionate about all forms of design including furniture, art installations, first and foremost buildings of all shapes and sizes.
