Morris Elected Governor for the LaMissTenn District of Key Club International

BILOXI, Miss.- St. Patrick Catholic High School is proud to announce that Emerson Morris ’23 has been elected Governor of the Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee District for the 2022-2023 Service Year. Morris is one of 34 governors internationally, and will serve 5,000 members in over 700 high school chapters across the LaMissTenn District while bonding with student leaders in 30 countries.

“We’re more than students in our communities,” Emerson Morris said. “We’re also citizens and we have a sense of duty to help make things better. We can best that through service. I’m excited to have the opportunity to serve as Governor.”

Key club International is a service leadership program of Kiwanis International, and is the oldest  and largest service program for high school students. Started in California in the 1920’s, Key Club thrives on more than 5,000 high school campuses, primarily in the United States and Canada, though growth has enabled the experience to spread internationally to the Caribbean nations, Central and South America, and most recently to Asia and Australia.
