Pathways2Possibilities Exposition
On Wednesday, November 15 2017, St. Patrick Catholic High School 8th graders traveled to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum to experience hands-on activities and discover what career path interest them. They had the opportunity to walk around and engage with all the different booths that were set up for different career fields. The career fields they experienced included, marketing, manufacturing, public safety, information technology, human services, transportation, health science, government, finance, engineering, energy, education, business management, arts and communication, architecture, and construction and aerospace careers.
The St. Patrick 8th graders got to spend time talking to different people about possible career opportunities! Talking to people who actually do the job is a lot more enlightening than merely reading about it. This experience will help some students decide their future profession. The exhibits were unique because they were interactive. This was an opportunity for our students to learn by doing. There was something for everyone!
