Pasta for Pennies begins today to support Leukemia & Lymphoma Society research
Want to do some good during Lent this season? Pasta for Pennies begins today and will last until Friday, March 23!
This service fundraiser helps to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, which uses all donations collected to help fund research and to help families who are suffering from blood cancers. Student Council members will be collecting money in fourth period classes this year because the class with the largest donation will win a pasta lunch courtesy of Olive Garden.
The service project will continue for the next three weeks, and Student Council will provide updates on the top three classrooms every week until the winner is announced. St. Patrick raised more than $3,000 last year, and the goal is to beat last year’s donations! Donating is easy – check out the SPCHS Fundraising Page here!
