Rev. Monsignor Dominick Fullam celebrates school-wide Mass
On the November 8, the whole school along with visiting family members gathered together to celebrate mass. Rev. Msgr. Dominick Fullam was warmly welcomed by the student body. Students hurriedly found their seats and began getting ready to experience the foundation of the Catholic faith: the Eucharist. All students listened attentively to what Rev. Msgr. Dominick was teaching. He shared a beautiful homily relating to the gospel on this day. The homily included reflection on the fact that God will search for each one of us just as a shepherd which search for one lost sheep and leave a field of 99 behind. What a beautiful and strong love He has for us. Christina Perry was the altar server at this mass.
Making sure the students receive a solid and fruitful spiritual relationship is the most important of St. Patrick’s many goals. Because of this, students help conduct each mass. Students are responsible for altar serving, first reading, responsorial psalm, second reading, prayers of the faithful, presenting the gifts, music, and much more. St. Patrick also has a campus ministry team that leads students in their spiritual life throughout the year.
Mass is celebrated at 9:40 in the school cafeteria every Thursday morning. Adoration may be held some Thursday mornings as well. Family and friends are more than welcome to attend.
