Robotics team practices for upcoming competitions
On Thursday, September 6, the Robotics Team held a meeting to discuss upcoming events. They practiced operating the t-shirt shooter, which will shoot t-shirts to the crowd during football games.
Senior Mary Catherine Kalil says, “Our school is extremely lucky to have such an amazing robotics program with such dedicated mentors such as Mrs. Worrel and Mr. Roy Cloud. This program helps each student to express their individual talents whether it’s working on building the robot, engineer book, scrapbook, etc. There is something for everyone!”
Their next meeting is Monday, September 10, at 3:05 p.m. The club meets every Tuesday and Thursday after school to practice. If anyone wants to join robotics, see Mrs. Worrel.
