Smith and McClure Selected by The Mississippi Association of Coaches to Coach South All-Star Team
The Mississippi Association of Coaches selected girls’ soccer coaches Adam Smith and Angie McClure to coach the South State team this year. The two coaches will choose the team and coach the all-state game on February 13th at Bulldog Stadium in Brandon, Mississippi.
Smith currently serves as the head coach of the varsity squad at St. Patrick.
“Coach Smith has done a great job with the women’s program since arriving at St. Patrick. His leadership in developing student-athletes is foundational to our school’s mission, and we are excited to have him be the South All-Star Coach for the MAC this year,” said athletic director Trey Bailey.
McClure serves as the head coach of the junior high girl’s program and will assist Smith with coaching and selecting the team.
“Coach McClure is continuing to do an outstanding job in developing our junior high women’s program and is an excellent choice as the assistant coach for this year’s MAC All-Star Game,” said Bailey.
