SPCHS students compete in MATHCOUNTS Competition
MATHCOUNTS is a national coaching and competition program designed to stimulate 6th, 7th and 8th grade students’ interest and achievement in mathematics. Approximately 100 schools send student mathletes to participate in nine regional competitions held throughout the state every February. Four students (Vincent DeStazio, Thomas Owen, London Lafferty and Ainsley Kate Thriffiley) competed in the regional competition on Friday, Feb. 16
This year, St. Patrick Catholic High School secured fifth place in the team round, and 7th Grade Student Thomas Owen placed 13th out of 108 students. Great job to these students and to Sponsor Victoria Williams!
