SPCHS Tennis Team participates in first match of the season

On Thursday, February 28, St. Patrick Catholic High School held its first tennis match of the season at Bayou Bluff Tennis Club in Gulfport against Gulfport High School.

Matches started around 4 p.m. and both varsity and junior varsity teams competed. Both teams played hard and to the finish. Sadly, the St. Patrick Fighting Irish couldn’t pull through the way they wanted to and Gulfport won the overall match. The Irish were disappointed, but they had fun and did their best. Come out and support the tennis team at their next upcoming matches:

  • March 19: Varsity SPCHS tennis vs. Bay St. Louis (away) @ 4pm
  • March 21: Varsity SPCHS tennis vs. Lumberton (home) @ 4pm
  • March 26: Varsity SPCHS tennis vs. Harrison Central (home) @ 4pm
