Spelling Bee

The St. Patrick Catholic High School Spelling Bee took place on Tuesday, November 13, 2017. Seventh and Eighth graders were among the participants.  Each seventh and eighth grade English class hosted a class room spelling bee.  The winners of the classroom spelling bees went on to the school spelling bee.  The top three finishers in the school spelling bee were Cecilia Ware, Ainsley Kate Thriffiley, and Anthony Mattina.  Cecilia will go on to compete in the regional meet later this school year, where she will represent St. Patrick Catholic High School.

Mrs. Sutherlin, who teaches some of the seventh and eighth graders stated, “This year’s students did an exceptional job at the spelling bee. Their spelling skills were exquisite.”  She puts it in to perfect terms of how the students preformed during the spelling bee.

Congratulations to our winners, and all of our participants.  Good Luck to Cecilia in the regional spelling bee.
