
Alumna Anna Kate Cornish ‘12 hired as math teacher for 2020-21 school year
Anna Kate Cornish ‘12 will join the St. Patrick faculty next year. She graduated from Delta State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and brings a wealth of knowledge to the school’s Math Department.
“Being an alumna, I understand how special St. Patrick’s educational environment is and I look forward to being a part of that once again. My main objective will not only be to enhance my student’s mathematical abilities and goals, but also to enhance their spiritual and personal goals as well,” said Cornish.
Cornish is a currently on track to receive a Masters in Education from William Carey University.
Principal, Dr. Matt Buckley, looks forward to welcoming Cornish back to St. Patrick.
“I am extremely proud to have alumna Mrs. Cornish join our team of faculty at St. Patrick Catholic High School,” said Dr. Buckley. “I know she will be an excellent teacher and will be a great addition for our students and school family – I look forward to welcoming Mrs. Cornish to campus this fall.”
