St. Patrick Hires New Spanish Teacher for 2021-22

St. Patrick Catholic High School is proud to announce the hiring of Mariana Canales as a Spanish teacher for the 2021-22 school year. Canales will also assist in the coaching of the Irish Emeralds Dance Team.

Canales is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, where she majored in Spanish and minored in Dance. Born in Victoria, Chile, Canales has lived in the United States since she was nine years old.

“We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Canales to St. Patrick as Spanish teacher and assistant dance coach for the 2021-22 school year. I am confident she will be an asset to our team and will assist us in continuing to advance the mission of our great school,” said Principal Dr. Matt Buckley.

In her spare time, she enjoys teaching fitness classes and taking dance classes.
