St. Patrick holds a Pink Out Pep Rally on October 12

On Friday, October 12, St. Patrick hosted a pep rally with the theme of “Pink Out.” Students had the option of free dress and were allowed to wear anything pink or anything associated with fighting breast cancer.

Changes were made to this pep rally by Eddie Burger to help things run faster and smoother, such as the order of the events and where the classes would sit. Many alumni and parents attended this pep rally, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The football players were motivated by the show of support from everyone at St. Patrick, and seemed to be ready for that night’s game. The Fighting Irish’s next game and pep rally will be Friday, October 19, so come out and support!

Gabby Patino, a junior at St. Patrick, said, “ I always enjoy the pep rallies that the school hosts, but I especially enjoyed this one because of the theme. I also loved seeing my sister cheer and my cousin dance in the pep rally, and I loved supporting them! I can’t wait for the next pep rally to pump up the football players.”
