St. Patrick holds JV track meet
On Tuesday, March 27, St. Patrick held the Junior High Track and Field competition. The contest consisted of multiple events, including the long jump, the high jump, sprints, relay races, pole vault, discus, and shot put. The following Irish track team members placed as follows:
Field Events:
- 1st in Pole Vault- Jameson Thriffiley
- 4th in Shot Put and 2nd in Discus- Noah Collier
- 1st in Long Jump- Brendon Turner
- 2nd in Long Jump- Abby Badurak
- 4th in Long Jump- Briana Bennett
Track Events:
- 1st in 100m Hurdles, 2nd in both 100m and 200m Dash- Abby Badurak
- 1st in 400m dash- Olivia Williams
- 4th in 200m dash- Briana Bennett
- 3rd in Hurdles- Vincent DeStazio
- 1st in the 4 by 200m relay and 2nd in 100m Relay- team of Badurak, Bennett, Juliana Sabagh and Williams
- 2nd in 1600m- James Thriffiley
- 2nd in 400m run- Bryon Shepard
- 3rd place in the 4 by 200m relay- team of DeStazio,Turner,Shepard and Thriffiley
- 3rd in 200m- Clay Hilton
- 2nd in 200m dash- Brendon Turner
We would like to congratulate the Irish track team on such an outstanding performance at the meet. We would also like to thank all of our faculty and students who assisted in making this meet possible.
