St. Patrick kicks off another successful school year during Meet the Teacher Night

Throughout the last week, the teachers of St. Patrick Catholic High School have been preparing lesson plans for a different crowd of students.

On the evening of August 22, many parents returned back to school to walk through their student’s schedule. Gathering in the gym after their arrival, parents were given a class schedule and speech from St. Patrick Principal Matt Buckley.

Although only given five minutes in each class, the bell schedule seemed to be a bit of a challenge as many parents found themselves lost in the great halls and scenery. Parents raced through the halls as they experienced the five minute rush hour in between class periods. Many students raced down the hall with their parents, showing them the art of fast-hall walking.

Mrs. Cloud spoke happily to her class of parents, saying, “I hope everyone had a great night. I truly enjoy getting to know my students’ parents and letting them know just what fun we have in the classroom.”

The night was wrapped up shortly with refreshments and many parents were able to stay behind to speak one on one with teachers. The Meet the Teacher event helped many new and returning families to learn  what a phenomenal teaching environment St. Patrick offers.
