St. Patrick students and families enjoy St. James Fall Festival
Last weekend, St. James Elementary School and Parish held the annual Fall Festival. The Fall Festival was full of fun, food, and fellowship. St. James Elementary School and Parish hold the Fall Festival every year as a fundraiser to support the church and school. People of all ages gather together at the St. James Fall Festival every year.
The Festival has many games including inflatables, a rock-climbing wall, a haunted house, and a cake walk. The festival also has great food provided by the families of St. James. St. James students perform together and have a class dance. There is also a gallery with art from the students and a silent auction with many great items. One of the favorite games this year was the dunking booth. St. Patrick’s athletic director, Eddie Burger, volunteered to be in the dunking booth. St. James and St. Patrick students were lined up to dunk Coach Burger. The Fall Festival also included a St. Patrick booth. At the booth, you could spin a wheel and you were asked trivia about St. Patrick. Everyone enjoyed the St. Patrick booth this year.
Every year St. James families gather to celebrate the Fall Festival. It is the student’s favorite time of the year. It is also a great time for some St. Patrick students to go back to their elementary school and reconnect with teachers and friends. The St. James Fall Festival is the perfect place to have a great time with family and friends.
