St. Patrick to assist St. Genevieve Catholic School – Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux
Dear Students,
In your prayers this week, please continue to remember those who have been affected by Hurricane Ida. At St. Patrick, we are partnering with our Catholic schools in the Diocese of Biloxi to assist St. Genevieve Catholic School in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux.
On Wednesday, September 8th, we are asking all students, faculty, and staff to prayerfully considering making a monetary donation or gift card donation to St. Genevieve Catholic School. The recommended donation is $5 or more. Students who donate money or gift cards on Wednesday, September 8th, are permitted to wear jeans with any St. Patrick shirt on this day. All donations will be collected in students’ first period classes. Donations may also be made online at this link. All checks should be made payable to St. Patrick Catholic High School – we will deposit all cash, checks, and credit card donations and cut one check to St. Genevieve Catholic School.
Damage is still being assessed in the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux; therefore, our Catholic schools may conduct an additional drive for supplies in partnership with Catholic Charities.
Together, may we be the hands of Christ – we remain united in our faith and service to others. Let us serve the students and families of St. Genevieve Catholic School during this difficult time. Thank you for your love and support.
Go Irish!
