
Student Council hosts annual Irish Idol
On Tuesday, September 11, Student Council hosted the annual Irish Idol. Irish Idol is a talent show, taking place during homecoming week, for students to showcase their best talents. This year, Hayden Miller and Stephen Azar emceed the event. They told jokes, introduced the students, and also had a surprise performance at the end.
Hayden Miller said, “This is an event that I look forward to every year and I am honored to have gotten to be a part of it.”
There were more than 10 acts this year and it definitely contributed to the students’ excitement about homecoming week. There were various performances such as singing, taekwondo, dancing, and acting.
Performer, Mallory Edwards, said, “This year’s Irish Idol was definitely the best one yet. It showcased the diverse talents hidden within the St. Patrick student body and I had so much fun performing in the show!”
Overall, this year’s Irish Idol was a huge success and students cannot wait till next year!
